Do I need a special printer to print tags with Showroom Tags?
A) No, any printer that prints 8
½ x 11" paper will work with Showroom Tags. A color printer is preferred, but not necessary.
Q) What
do I need on my computer?
A) You will need to have licensed versions of Microsoft Excel 2003 or
later as well as Microsoft Publisher 2007 installed on the workstation where Showroom Tags is installed for the software to
run properly. (Please note that the Student Versions of this software will not work with Showroom Tags)
Q) Can
I manipulate the prices on products for things like adding taxes or pricing an item with an installed price?
A)
Yes, there are a number of options available in Showroom Tags that will allow you to add either a fixed amount or percentages
to the pricing.
Q) What happens if I update my Pacific Solutions software, will Showroom Tags still operate correctly?
A) After updating Pacific Solutions software, please contact Showroom Tags Support Department at information@showroomtags.com . There are a few minor adjustments that will need to be made in order for Showroom Tags to continue
to operate correctly with the new update. In the mean time you may get a message that says "Showroom Tags is not installed
on this computer. For more information go to www.showroomtags.com or click on the "Web" button below."

Can I put Showroom Tags on another workstation?
A) You can only install Showroom Tags on additional
workstations if you purchase additional licenses for Showroom Tags.
Q) Which is
the best workstation to install Showroom Tags on?
A) The best computer to install Showroom Tags
on is the workstation where you plan on printing your tags. You may want to consider installing it on a computer that has
the capability to print to a color printer.
Q) Will Showroom Tags work on my Mac or Apple computer?
A) No, Showroom Tags currently works on a Windows operating system only.
Q) Does Showroom Tags
run on my server or on a specific workstation?
A) Showroom Tags is installed on a workstation;
the data it uses may be on the server but not the Showroom Tags software.
Q) Why do the barcodes not print on
my tags?
A) If the barcode prints as a number, then most likely the barcode font (3 of 9 barcode
font) is not installed on the computer where Showroom Tags is installed. This font can be downloaded from the Downloads
and Links page.
Q) Will Showroom Tags work on Terminal Services from my remote location?
A)
Yes, however you will need to obtain volume licenses for the Microsoft Office programs in order for all of the programs to
work properly while using terminal services.
